Sarracenia, especially the erect trumpet species, require extremely high sun.

The prostrate species---Sarracenia purpureaS. psittacina, and S. rosea---can survive and even thrive in lower lighting conditions such as you might expect in a terrarium or windowsill.

Sarracenia purpurea, commonly known as the purple pitcher plant, northern pitcher plant, or side-saddle flower, is a carnivorous plant in the family Sarraceniaceae. Its wide range around the world makes it the most common and broadly distributed pitcher plant, as well as the only member of the genus that inhabits cold temperate climates.

Sarracenia purpurea pitchers are small, up to 30 cm long. Its lid( 'hood') is erect, with a pair of lateral ear-like wings on each side of the pitcher lip, which is usually beautifully veined with treelike patterns, and is covered with stiff hairs pointing towards the pitcher opening.
